Rest to gain better, don't push too hard

While I was traveling back home with my wife, I realized something rather difficult to explain. To start, I came to the point to remember the things I've been looking upon the state of the media today, especially those that came from Hollywood.

It is proven that, most of the music/movies produced by them and their affiliates subconsciously gets into the mind of the audience and tends to 'program' them in a way that they have been instilled with the knowledge that will then affect the way they view and act on their lives--which is usually rather diminishing acts causing troubles personally.

I came to realize from these, what if we listen to good things everyday instead of pushing garbage in our head, would it be that they will be able to achieve greater good in our life, as we have been instilled with greater good knowledge?

I came to think of it, what if I listen everyday to good music, and listen to good talk even without really paying much attention, just listening to it while doing something like my daily work, would it be that the knowledge will be processed by my brain automatically?,
and without much effort my body will react on the right action.

I believe there is something more in our brains than just crunching everything we focus on, I believe they are things that gets into the brain without us noticing it. And when the time comes for its use, we are surprised to know that we know!

What if I listen or read the bible everyday, that I make it a part of my routine, would it be that my actions towards life would change? for better? Would it be that my knowledge and views be broaden and that my work will be easier?

Perhaps what we have been doing through centuries is to work hard, what if we rest while we work, and not push ourselves to the limits, maybe we can go further.

It may sound crazy but I totally believe now, that we can gain more by resting. And learn more by resting. Well of course I did not mean to sleep all day, what I mean is to just look around, sit for a while, look up and ask the Creator of all these things, just talk and listen. Look at the plants look how they grow.

We'll be surprised that we really don't have to work so hard, to be greedy to know everything, because the Creator has unfolded the secrets already, and the patterns have been laid down we just didn't stop to look at it, we pushed our brain too much, yet we extracted little, when the right approach all along was to make it rest.

Rest in God.

The Semantic Network: Ideas towards Web 3.0

The movement involved in Web 2.0 did not only involved the advancement of web technology but also involved the participation by the internet users itself that became the massive content providers of the web, take into consideration the massive contents in social network websites and blogging sites.

There is however another domain in which massive contents is found, peer-to-peer (p2p) networks have flourished as efficient data/content sharing network. Thus, harnessing such network to publish contents that are often done through sites with 'static IP' will enable the contents to expand rapidly.

A concept of a ‘web peer’ is needed to publish and discover contents over the p2p network.

A broker between the centralized web and the decentralized ‘web peer’ network must be built in order to expose the contents in p2p networks. A new protocol is also needed for service discovery of p2p-based web services—from simple web service to full blown web application that can be delivered through p2p.

Centralized access will also aid the rapid growth of contents, like 'web desktop’ solutions will certainly be a tool that will ease the content management for internet user content providers. Web desktop solution that has access to different web services like centralized web services like, internet applications and distributed services like, distributed storage.

Distributed storage builds upon each participant’s internet time to store content over the internet using p2p protocols. As participants spend more time online more and more data are stored in the network.

As the era of Cloud computing is approaching fast, cloud computers will allow internet users to stay online at greater amount of time as the power consumption of such devices are very low—this will allow such distributed system to have stronger grounds.

Web 3.0 is also about availability of internet, a movement similar to ‘Fon’ and ‘Meraki’ that enables the rapid proliferation of internet through managed WiFi distribution across the globe.

As web 3.0 is not just about a single device, an initiative that will unify the dynamic contents found in small businesses such as stores is thus needed to realize the web to merge with the mobile edge. Thus, a movement is needed that deals with unifying such published contents which Bluetooth is the main catalyst for such convergence.

As WiFi has been the mobile wave that opens the portal to the web, Bluetooth and Zigbee on the other hand bridges the gap between the internet and the real world with the availability of Bluetooth and Zigbee-based sensor devices, like for temperature, pollution , community level health status and others. Many other Bluetooth-enabled devices in the following years will be able to bridge real-time community generated data through commercial implementations of such technology. Thus with the convergence of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, real-time information of the community and environment will be available to the web, which will open better opportunies for the masses using the web.

The most profound question I've learned to ask myself

The most profound question I've learned to ask myself:

If God is a engineer and architect then
God must have existed and constructed everything alongside with Him.
But if God is a writer and composer then
we all just exists in God's imagination...

The concept of existence is vague yet we have learned to live and exist to adapt.
We have learned to create things based on patterns we see.

Finding such patterns in concrete structures and systems
and directions to take towards innovation.

Elegant Thinking leads to Elegant Designs:

I've always been fascinated by this world. Everytime I look up I always have a question above.

Why is that from the tiniest particles to very complex social structures—there has always been a pattern. As this scale independent patterns that exposes a kind of “abstraction” stretches my imagination.

At the smallest conceivable concept the universe as made up of strings—what is this seemingly infinitely thin strand that vibrates in harmony with the universe. Different pattern of vibrations in which fundamental particles are made.

Knowing that there exists such patterns of vibrations fascinates me.

Imagination, Separation and Reality:

People have long search for the truth in a way that it is understandable and concrete. Abstractions is where the realm of imagination and creativity lies.

In the field of engineering we have studied theories and laws on how these concrete theories are put into motion, how they interact in relation to each other. And have not considered such abstractions as much, and that L-Directed thinking has flourished in these fields.

As such for time we have understood that phenomenon like electricity and magnetism as separate—yet in reality this two is actually the same, we only define it relative to us.

Thinking in an abstract way really captures all that there is to something.

Open Software, Open Resources:

Many people think of software just as a stuff for computers—but there's something beyond that. It may not seem obvious that software can actually take critical roles in our society.

And that a simple innovation, making something like this more available could actually help save millions of lives.

As the lack of equipments and immediate information is one of the forefront reasons of fatality at the edge of disasters. And that tracing back, it can be pointed at the other edge, the design of such systems, systems which cost millions of dollars. Making it cost less will make a difference.

Since I've been to designing such similar complex systems at least internally, there is really a way to reduce such systems cost. The key is elegant design. My way of elegant design takes engineering practices across different platforms of thinking. In which creativity works and R-Directed thinking soars!
